Grant System Permissions

To act on your behalf, Silicon Worker needs some system permissions. Grant them as needed — you can skip what you don't use.

macOS permissions

In System Settings → Privacy & Security, enable as needed:

  • Accessibility: recognize and operate UI elements (clicks, typing) — required for desktop automation.
  • Automation: control other apps via scripting.
  • Full Disk Access: read/write files in protected locations.
  • Calendars / Reminders: read and write Calendar and Reminders (when using Apple-app features).
  • Notifications: notify you when a task completes.

macOS usually prompts the first time a capability is used; you can also enable these in advance.

Windows permissions

Windows uses UI Automation for on-screen actions and generally needs no extra manual grants. If antivirus software blocks automation, add Silicon Worker to its trusted list.

Safety note: Silicon Worker asks for consent before sensitive actions (see Concepts → Tools & risk levels).
